Ground BEAUTIFICATION Day

The Board of Directors is excited to host a Grounds Beautification Day, and we’d love for you to join us. We’ll be rolling up our sleeves together for some outdoor TLC by spreading soil and mulch, planting flowers and greenery, tidying the yard, and giving the whole property a fresh, welcoming lift.
Our Board will be bringing equipment, and anyone who comes out can jump in with planting, cleanup, blowing leaves and debris, litter pick‑up, and general yard work. If you’re able to bring along tools for gardening or cleanup, that would be wonderful. And if you’d like to donate or bring flowers or plants to help brighten the space, your generosity would be truly appreciated.
It’s a simple way to make a meaningful difference, and we’d be so grateful to have you with us as we care for the place that cares for so many.

What to Bring

Work gloves, rakes, garden tools, outdoor brooms, large trash bags, trash grabbers if you have them — plus closed-toed shoes and clothing that keeps you comfortable in the weather.

Back Door Mission doesn’t have a budget for landscaping or beautification, so we rely on the generosity of our community. If you happen to have extra mulch, plants, soil, or other garden supplies, we’d be grateful to put them to good use.
